This song was written with Jan Chamberlin Rooney. Mickey Rooney's final wife. I first met Jan when I was called in on a session in Westlake Village to play guitar. This was one of the songs she recorded that night however if was a very folky version. From that night I began working with Jan more and more. We wrote several tunes together and reworte this tune a couple of years later and recorded the viersion you are hearing now. This version was used by her for a "Feed the Homeless" drive at the Beverly Hills hotel and was received quite well. I think her does a great vocal on this recording.
