Hello Rich,

My name is Allan J. Bremer and I live over here in the middle of Oklahoma and go to The Lighthouse church in Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma (www.lighthouseok.org).

I purchased your 'Road Theory' stuff a while back and I'm listening to it all the time at work. Knowing all the keys backwards is what is most challenging to me. I'm going to use standard business cards on my printer and design flash cards for each key. On the front it will say the key, and on the back will be the scale forward and backward. I guess that way it'll help me remember it.

I really didn't realize that you were a Christian and your stuff was Christian based. I have played on worship teams for years and I just switched churches after 7 years and my new church is more Choir based ( a lot of black type gospel songs )...what a change from what I'm used to. Ya know, I'm used to the top CCLI (www.ccli.com) 25 songs.

Anyway, I could go on forever about how excited I am about finally taking theory seriously (I'm sorry that I started this while I'm in my 50's instead of when I was 15!). I tell everyone I meet now about your theory stuff and your website - and, how important it is to not skip out on theory. I have even started a Christian Worship Team club - check out www.worshipwriter.com

Anyway, thank you Rich. I hope to be able to get much more of your stuff really soon. I would like to check out your 1 year course.

Thank God for you sir...

I can't say enough about how finding Guitar College 'resonates' with me. I spend a lot of time on the road, and had been spending non-instrument time working on theory.

So the Theory-for-the-Road material was a perfect place for me to start.

Rich, your playing is just that...simply rich. I had no idea what I stumbled on - I didn't expect much because I started at the 99centguitarlessons site...your solos are like audible paintings ...the more you study them, the more dimension, elegance and complexity they reveal. I like the guitarists you list as influences, but for my musical taste, you take what I like style-wise from those players and add the bebop elements, resulting in sound or style with greater substance.

Hi Rich,

I bought your course I think when you first publish it on the back of a guitar magazine like 4 paragraphs back in 1993
almost 15 years ago you sold it with cassette package I bought all of it including blues Jazz and rythm course packages. I dont regret at all I got deplyoed in kuwait border of Iraq I brought your courses with me I am still practicing. Now I am recording Jazz tunes with a digital recorder without your course I wouldnt have fulfilled my dreams to play guitar.Your Instruction gave me alot of foundations and directions. Play this up and down the neck sequences triads arpeggios the more I played it the more I hear it in my head like you say noggen and then became intuitive like knowing how to use a tool the more you use it the mind just goes automatic, Ive tried different courses and videos but somehow I kept going back to your package courses, I think when completing course theory and technique 2 I found my self Jamming. God bless your work and your guitar courses. To all the reader if you bought the course dont give up the more you practice the more you will enjoy playing your guitar it may take many years and years its all worth it stay motivated.

Hi Rich, I am the worship leader at my small church down in Lake Isabella, (He Cares Fellowship). I have developed a strong desire to become a better player with a focus on Jazz. I found your site and what a blessing. Thanks and I hope to meet up in the future at one of your conferences.

Blessings, Peace.

Hi Rich,
Was looking for a college to further my studies after one year at Berklee on line. As a fellow believer, I was much encouraged by your willingness to honour God and quickly signed up on the jazz programme. Thank God I met you

I accidentally came upon your video on horn lines on you tube. I believe the info in that video is the most useful of any I have found. Do you address double stops in any of your lessons. If so, I would be interested in knowing which one. Thanks again!

Rich,

Enjoyed the workshops you taught 9/19 and 9/20 at Thriving Musician Summit in Roseville, Ca. Your skills at teaching and playing have inspired me to take my playing to the next level. Thanks!

Rich,

I saw and heard you play at the guitar/gear fair in Puyallup, Washington last month. It was awesome, and you were awesome. I also heard Doyle Dykes. I know you like him too. Thanks for opening up to me a whole new world of guitar playing. You have raised the bar for me, and I want to play a lot better because of you. Also, your faith in Christ is an inspiration. Thanks for coming to Puyallup.

Dear Rich, I recently had the wonderful experiance to take
a couple of your guitar classes at the International Worship Institute at DFW HYATT REGENCY HOTEL and the privilege to see you play guitar all week. I cant express
how blown away I was and how inspired your GOD given talents blessed my soul. Although I'm a bass player for 30
years I will branch into guitar using your courses.
I know God said "Thou Shall Have No Idols Before Me"
but I place you near the top in the music realm. In closing
I wish the best for you and your wife. GOD BLESS YOU!!

checking out the site. I'm in Chesapeake, VA and have been a jazz enthusiast for many years.
Will become familiar with the sight and proceed from there to see whether or not I'll get lessons

Great new site. It's much easier to navigate, and with a discussion board too! Would like to see some of your famous "specials" though.
