Here is a great find, a 2003 Golden Eagle with a 13/4 nut width, most are 1 11/16. Great for fingerstyle and chord melody. The Golden Eagle is Heritage's top of the line guitar with 5 ply binding on the body and 3 ply one the bound headstock, pick guard, neck and F holes. The Golden Eagle is the L5 of their line up. Remember Heritage was started by Gibson employees. The ebony fretboard with the 5 piece curly maple neck is the most comfortable you'll ever play and the cloud inlays tells you it plays like a dream and this one has no fret wear! The HRW hand wound pickup delivers a warm fat tone most Golden Eagles have floating pickups. Solid spruce top, Solid curly maple back, Solid curly maple rim, 17” width, 20-1⁄2” length, 3” rim thickness,17° peghead pitch and 5-piece curly maple The guitar has been played so it does have blemishes, but nothing that interferes with the playability and sound. If you want an L5 that's affordable and comfortable here it is!!
